Configure Skyrim LE for SexLab Framework Development using MO2
Notice: The following is for 18++ years of age or older. Not intended for minors.
I am writing this December of 2020 and almost January 2021. Skyrim came out in November of 2011 and many guides are way outdated making them hard to follow with all the new Skyrim updates. I have recently learned by asking other modders that some develop in Skyrim LE and convert their mods to Skyrim SE.
Modding is an advanced topic even without SexLab. Now that you are looking to write a Skyrim mod, there will be some assumed knowledge in this tutorial.
This link was where I started but I could not get things to work without changing some of the steps. The lines about needing a dialog, I am copying and pasting into my blog post here for now. I will change and go into more detail later.

Make sure you have Winzip or similar installed before starting this tutorial. Also, take note how long it’s been that these files were published. Part of the reason so many of us in 2021 are having problems configuring our environments.
I am assuming you already know how to use and configgure MO2 for your Skyrim LE installation. If you don’t then this topic is too advance for you. Come back when you know more on MO2, installing and configuring mods. I am also assuming you have the Skyrim DLC’s; Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire.
Before doing anything, go to your Skyrim/Data folder and unzip the scripts.rar file.
Now go get SKSE for LE and copy it’s contents into your Skyrim folder.

CK SE looks for script sources in \source\scripts by default, but CK LE originally wanted them in \scripts\source. This has been a reason many cannot get their SexLab Framework development environments working under Skyrim SE. I am hoping to make another post that explains how to get it working under Skyrim SE.
If for any reason your installation uses source\scripts and not scripts\source, you need to change it. You will find this where you configured MO2 to install your mods.
Open the Creation Kit from your Skyrim LE MO2 setup. Now create a new SexLab mod with these files selected; Skyrim, Update, SexLab, and Zaz Animation Pack.

Reopen your code file again. You should know by now that the file name I have and the file name you have will be different.

Fusion 360 and PDF files
Most of would like Fusion 360 to handle PDF files natively. After searching this is the easiest thing I found that works for my needs.
First couple of steps is hard to show them as images at the moment.
- Open your PDF that you want to import.
- Do a screen capture of the PDF and turn it into an image format that Fusion360 can import.
- Set your drawing measurements to match your drawing. Had to change mine from MM to INCHES.
- Import the image to Fusion 360 by inserting the image as a canvas.
- When prompted I will choose the X,Y plane.
- For now just click ok as we will re-arrange it’s size and location in a moment.
- Click top view and scroll in close to the drawing.
- Find a reference so we can scale the drawing to actual size.
- Zoom in to your reference.
- Open up the Canvases list on the left.
- Right click the canvas that was imported and choose calibrate.
- Click on each end point of your reference.
- Type in the measurement for your reference.
- Press enter and then you draw should be to scale if you did everything correct. It may appear your drawing disappeared or got deleted.
- Zoom out to see your drawing.
- At this point you can move your drawing to any reference space within your 3D CAD environment. Trace or do what you wanted the drawing for in the first place and continue from there.

What is the Wifi Pineapple?

The WiFi Pineapple is a powerful and flexible wireless auditing platform. The project is a combination of continuously evolving hardware, software and modules. It caters to and is supported by a passionate and creative community of penetration testers, systems administrators and wireless enthusiasts.
With each generation, the hardware is designed to take advantage of the best available wireless components of the day. The hardware continues to grow as the user experience is refined and components are updated to respond to the ever changing wireless landscape.
The firmware is engineered alongside the hardware to fully exploit 802.11 protocols. Comprising both the embedded Linux base as well as the web-based user interface, it’s in continuous development with free updates delivered over the air.
To further enhance the platform the firmware is designed with an API which enables add-on modules. Modules extend the functionality by providing additional tools and exploits to take advantage of the platform. They can be downloaded and installed over the air from the web interface. In fact, every WiFi Pineapple component is a module which can be updated from the web interface.
What does it do?
Being a versatile Linux-based wireless auditing platform in development since 2008, it does many things. That said, it is best known for it’s ability to passively gather intelligence, target and track WiFi enabled devices and effectively deploy a rogue access point for man-in-the-middle attacks.
Rogue Access Point?
The WiFi Pineapple can be deployed as an extremely effective rogue access point. This is done by thoroughly mimicking the preferred wireless networks of client devices such as laptops, phones and tablets.
For convenience, modern WiFi enabled devices automatically connect to networks for which they have previously joined. Over the years the ways in which devices connect to these preferred networks has changed, and throughout the WiFi Pineapple has stayed effective at capturing these clients using its custom PineAP suite.
As an example, this means that a targeted laptop which has previously connected to an airport WiFi network may automatically connect to the penetration testers WiFi Pineapple thinking it is the legitimate network in its preferred network list. Once the targeted device joins the WiFi Pineapple network as a client, it poises the auditor in the position as the man-in-the-middle.
Man-in-the-middle?
Network connections are made up of many nodes. When you browse the web from home, for instance, your traffic goes through many “hops”. From your laptop to your wireless access point, your modem and numerous routers between your ISP and the web server of the site you’re accessing – your traffic in the form of packets is handed off to a variety of equipment down the chain.
Any node between you and the destination can be considered a man-in-the-middle, in a way, but the term itself generally refers to an attack. This is where an untrusted third party is poised in such a way as to eavesdrop on the connection. An attacker setup as a man-in-the-middle can both monitor and manipulate the traffic down the line.
It’s a powerful place to be as a penetration tester. The closer you can get in-line to the target, the more successful your attack may become. With the WiFi Pineapple deployed as a rogue access point targeting the individual of interest in an audit, this poises you, the auditor, as the first hop in the chain.
How can the WiFi Pineapple help my pentest?
With an emphasis on responsible auditing within the scope of engagement, the WiFi Pineapple can be used to passively gather intelligence, as well as actively capture clients in order to monitor and manipulate traffic. Modules such as Evil Portal can be deployed to effectively harvest credentials or inject malware onto targeted devices. When used in conjunction with typical tools of the trade, the WiFi Pineapple can easily integrate into your pentest workflow.
As more organizations embrace Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies, endless possibilities emerge for the penetration tester. The focus shifts from breaking into the network to becoming the network.

Turning an old laptop or tablet into a server
It is old and I did not want to get rid of it. So this 32 bit, 2GB RAM with 32GB disk is now my database and data processing server. I am surprised how well it is performing.

I am writing C# .Net (Core) scripts for data collection and processing using this tablet has become my server. Most of the data sources are just plain text CSV, XML or JSON files that take up very little space.
- Loaded up MySQL Community Server 8 on a 64GB Micro SD card as my D drive.
- On the same Micro SD card, created a scripts directory and turned them into scheduled tasks.
- Using the Micro SD card allows me to easily upgrade to more space. Just copy contents over to a new larger Micro CD and done.
Don’t be afraid to use that old hardware.
